Fast Food Toys Aren’t Just For Kids
Anyone can be a big collector of fast food toys, but the simple truth is that most avid collectors are grown ups! With every new movie, video game or comic book a new toy shows up in one of the fast food chains. And, each one quickly becomes a much loved collectable for someone.
These cute little toys started out as a lure to get children to ask for the restaurants kid meals. But, adults are often seen buying these small portion meals just to get another toy to add to their collection! The small toys quickly became the biggest advertising gimmick in the world.

Collecting Die Cast Cars
Some people are lucky enough to have a collection of classic cars. But, this is an unaffordable hobby for most people. Collecting die cast cars is a way for anyone to have a collection of their most loved, most desired cars or other vehicles.
The first die cast vehicles began appearing in 1934. Originally they were additions to model train layouts to add more realism to the tiny towns they created. They weren’t designed to replicate real cars in the beginning. The first to appear were Dinky models, called Meccano Modeled Miniatures, six vehicles were included in a train set.

In 1988, thirty-six toy collectors spent over $5 million dollars at the Perlman Toy Museum sale in less than 24 hours! Although, toy prices have leveled off somewhat since the 80’s, their value has continued to keep going up and toys remain a steady investment.

Collecting Dolls
Collecting dolls goes back in time quite a ways. There are people who collect nothing except old and antique dolls. Other people will collect any doll that may become of value in the future.
Some of the very first dolls ever made were actually made of cloth. The first cloth doll I remember as a child is the Raggedy Ann doll. As time passed, technology took great strides towards advancement. Another great collectible would become the cabbage patch dolls. Those dolls were very popular for a long time and are today a very valuable collectable.
